Beginners Yoga with Declan
Tuesdays 7.45pm

Join Declan for a course in yoga suitable for complete beginners, or those returning to yoga and starting from the beginning!

Facilitated in the warm and welcoming atmosphere of our studio, Declan is passionate about inclusivity in yoga practice and aims to offer a beginners class that meets each client where they’re at. Having started yoga from a 4 week beginners course in a studio by his office in his 50s, Declan was inspired to pursue yoga teaching on his retirement 5 years ago. Informed by his own experience of progressing at his practice later in life, and having experienced the wide variations of people’s experience of their yoga practice, Declan loves to get creative with adapting postures and making practice accessible.

In Declan’s classes, you’ll find:
– A relaxed, welcoming space for all ages and abilities
– Gentle guidance with time to ask questions and explore at your pace
– A focus on quieting the mind as much as moving the body
– The chance to build confidence while experiencing the many benefits of yoga

Beginner Friendly Mixed Ability Classes

If it doesn’t suit you to come to the Beginners Class or you want to come more than once a week, we recommend the following classes as a good place to start. Always feel free to ask your teacher for advice on suitable class slots for you.

Thursday 10 am – Morning Hatha Yoga with Alice

Saturdays 10.45am – Mellow Flow Yoga with Jenna
