Frequently Asked Questions

How do I get to the studio?

The best way to find the studio is by searching Macha Yoga on Google Maps or following this link https://goo.gl/maps/1J28iBccDMvgDft66 . Occasionally people end up Number 7 Florence Road. That’s NOT us. We’re in the Victorian terraced houses, Number 7 Florence Terrace near the junction with Adelaide Road. Look for the really big Monkey Puzzle Tree, the sign on the gate and the teal blue door.

Do I need to book?

At Macha Yoga we like to keep or class sizes small, a maximum of 8-10 students attend most classes. This means classes often sell out on the day of the event, so always contact before turning up to ensure there’s a place for you. You’re always welcome at the studio and we’ll do our best to accommodate you, but for everyone’s comfort, ensure you have received booking confirmation before you come.

Do I need to bring anything?

We have a generous store of mats, blankets, blocks and cushions for everyone to use. For your own comfort it’s nice to bring your own mat, but we provide them too. Please bring your own water if you need, there is no tap in the studio.

How much are classes?

Drop ins are €18, a 4 class pass costs €60 making the class €15, a 8 class pass costs €100 making the class €12.50. Courses and prenatal yoga are charged at different rates, please consult the class leader.

Can I use class passes and bundles for multiple teachers?

Yes, all yoga classes listed at www.machayoga.com/book can be used on a pass excluding “Beginners Mind” and “Prenatal”.

Is there somewhere to change clothes?

Yes, you can change clothes in our toilet facility.

Where can I park?

On street parking is available directly outside the studio. It’s free after 6.30pm when most of our classes start. Before then it’s pay and display at €1 per hour.
