Hello and welcome to Full Circle Woman! You natural cycle realignment program.
This program revolves around one core idea: You are a cyclical being! Over the next 5 lessons I’ll help you learn how to use yoga and natural well-being practices to become intimately aware of your own natural cycle and find power in that.
Anyone who menstruates, or can menstruate, has a body that is working on a monthly cyclical pattern. In order to keep up with a societal structures and expectations, most of us are forced to ignore this and live a life frustrated by living out of sync and pushing our bodies and minds to conform.
From before puberty until well after menopause, you are constantly moving through your own cycle. Each phase of it brings its own strengths that we can tap into once we know how. So now is the time to get in sync with your body and use it to make the most out of life!
A Practice
Masculine/feminine energy does not refer to gender, they are comparable to the sun and the moon, yin and yang, being active or receptive and so on. The polarity of energy is described in both eastern and western wisdom traditions and healing modalities. Regardless of gender, sexual orientation or personality, we all need to have our masculine and feminine energies appropriately in balance.
Hatha Yoga, which is any physical practice of yoga, is literally translated as the union of sun (masculine) and moon (feminine). It is the perfect way to attune yourself to what it feels like to be in healthy balance.
